The Honorable Abel Gashatsi, Second Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly congratulated the massive participation of the population of Ngozi in the community development work.
These compliments were pronounced by that member of the Bureau of the National Assembly at the end of the community development work of Saturday, April 15, 2023, which were held in the chief town of Ngozi province. MPs of that constituency and the local authorities were also present.
The works of the day which concerned the continuous construction of "Agasaka" Stadium were carried out in full consortium of all sides and consisted in the mixing and transporting the concrete mix towards the workers who were busy paving the stairs around the spectators’ area, which is being built.
The second Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly also congratulated the natives of the province taking into account the greatness of Agasaka stadium currently under erection, a masterpiece that will be of national and international interest. According to him, it is obvious that the various games, evangelization crusades and many other large-scale events will be organized at "Agasaka" stadium once the work is completed.
On the same occasion, the Honorable Abel Gashatsi invited the population of Ngozi to respect the authorities and to follow their orientations and the authorities to be good servants of people without discrimination.
The Governor of the province Mr. Emmanuel Ntaconsanze indicated that the security situation is good in all corners of the province and that the population is enjoying this reality by going serenely to their daily activities.
He added that community development work is carried out every Saturday, and even on Thursdays when there is a busy schedule. All this is done within the framework of responding to the call by His Excellency the President of the Republic, he added.
The Honorable Abel Gashatsi concluded his speech by insisting on the consolidation of peace and security, pillar of sustainable development. In the absence of these two aspects, no development project can be carried out," he said. He urged them to work in consortium through cooperative societies for the best development of the agro-pastoral sector, which will allow their contribution in the fight against the increasing food prices already observed on the market.
